IAmCollegeLife was created from a deeply personal journey and a powerful vision for independence, growth, and community. Inspired by the experience of preparing a son for adulthood and independent living, IAmCollegeLife was founded to help autistic young adults gain the confidence, life skills, and support they need to thrive in everyday life.

 

Our mission is to support autistic individuals in transitioning to independent living by providing essential resources, practical training, and meaningful social experiences for home, work, and everyday life.

 

At IAmCollegeLife, we believe independence looks different for everyone. Through engaging workshops, social events, workplace readiness programs, and real-world adulting experiences, we create safe and welcoming opportunities for autistic young adults ages 16–26 to build confidence, develop connections, and grow at their own pace.

 

We are more than an organization — we are a community focused on empowerment, belonging, and preparing young adults for the future with dignity, encouragement, and support.
